Rogero made it clear that the released CFW should be installed by people who had flashers, people who bricked while it was on beta testing phase were aware and they did so as volunteers. Some people bricked because they didn't wait for more solid results.

So don't come here trying to throw dirt at Rogero's reputation, what the hell you have done for the PS3 Scene? talk sh*t? go back to where you came from and stop talking non-sense.

lmao you are the one who is ignorant.. using ps3mfw builder to replace the coldboot image is not a cfw.. and requires no work.. you should try it some time.. there is not 1 patch from rogero in any of "his" mfw.. oh and yes this messes up stuff in the CFW that had being properly signed. which is why people brick..

Yes, 4.25to3.55 PUP.

EDIT: As a note, when downgrading from the hybrid 3.55 (4.25to3.55PUP) to 3.7a in recovery menu, it will say firmware FW 4.40 or later is needed (at least it did for me). Don't worry, this is normal.. just continue the process as described in tutorial from tortuga-cove.

Frist run 4.25 to 3.55 from xmb I mean update
When that's done run toggle QA then n go to recovery mode

If you do Not want to take the bricking Risk, stay on 3.55 like Many others. It is stable and you can still Play everything on it. If you don't Care for psn, stay on 3.55!!!

Im getting a DNS error "80710104" when I try to sign onto the playstation network. Everything else works fine, I think it isnt related the cfw if anyone knows a fix please help.

EDIT: Sorry tox0sis didnt see that reply, yes I have made sure all my connection settings are correct. Ive put them in a few times now. It connects to everything but the PSN.
