i have a PS3 FAT CECH00 i was using ROGERO CFW 4.21 updated from 3.55.
Today i have installed E3 CFW 4.30, and works perfectly fine.
I just Formated my Hard Drive first because my old installation from 3.55 doesnt works with BD Discs like MW3. Now is all working, and i make and Backup from MW3 on External USB HDD and im playing online all day,
Thanks E3 CFW 4.30 and Thanks Rogero for you hard works.
No necessary Downgrade to OFW 3.55 just update.

Working fine here

Method:

421v9 -> downgrader pup via XMB-> QA (fail) - QA (combo worked) -> 3.7A via Recovery-> QA -> 4.30 via Recovery

- PSN Access works
- All 4.21 re-signed homebrews/emulators working fine on 4.30
- Multiman working fine

No problems so far.

* CECH2501A; never downgraded using HW flasher

Nice to see the ps3 scene alive and going very well again. Thanks to all those guys who made all this possible. Can't wait to be on CFW again. My ps3 got updated back in January of this year and now I'm currently on 4.21 OFW. Guys enjoy this and be thankful. Maybe 1 day someone will find away to install from OFW. This is just the beginning guys. There's a lot more to come. Greg, pirate and all the others, big shout out to u guys. This site is awesome and all it's members

Yes my friend.
Here no problem uhuulll.
And just haved problem with old Multiman 4.08.0
But this new Multiman 4.08.01 is very good and faster.
All working.
And MW3 i just change options to Direct Boot in game configuration in Multiman.
All other games is working.

Modern Warfare 3

Well. I also have the first gen fat 60 gb and I went directly from kmeaw 3.55 cfw to 4.21 v.1.09. No problems at all as long as I follow every instructions.

My Videos,Games and Photos arangement goes back to default everytime i restart my ps3,im i the only one having this problem?

all working on my 2001a, did downgrade, qa toggle, 3.55 3.7, qa toggle, then flashed 4.30. I know it has been mentioned but some games are working with 3.55 fixes, just not ones with pkg installs to fix. Uncharted works for me, just uninstalled game data, however doing game updates with 3.55 fixes makes the game not work (i.e. max payne, added original eboot etc, and then tried upating game with 4.30 installed, game freezes after menu screen. Removed updates and game worked again. Not sure why that would be. With Devil May Cry hd collection, tried running after replacing everything back to unmodified eboot, getting 800 something error. Oh well, i still have my ps3 fat with cobra for those fixed games, no biggie.
