Yeah, e3 would be your best option, unless you know how to solder pretty good. And then, if you buy everything needed to downgrade and your problem turns out to be hardware related like I suspect it is, then you will be even more into a useless console. Not sure it is worth the risk, but that's your call. I guess if it doesn't fix it, than you still have a hardware flasher out of it, and parts.

also if i actually could repair it this way (by replacing NOR chip where do you order em?
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* ok coz i already ordered a progskeet for my cechb but then again 1.0 and 1.1 arent for sale any more so i got the 1.2 and i also ordered the clips for NANDs for solderless but im starting to wonder if maybe ordering just a NOR clip also just try out is worth it thats if i can actually do something with progskeet 1.2 coz up to now no one knows anything about it so..not sure what to do yet ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* so basically i open the ps3 up downgrade with NOr and then use 3.55norsod fix? but if the nor flash is the problem then how can i get good dumps? ok so im about to order 56clip so before i do i just want to know if anyone ver did get to reflash rsod cechlxxps3 from rsod 3.56+ with a progskeet and if yes did u have to change NOR chip?
