Hi guys,

i purchased a ps3 off ebay running 3.50 a few days ago, as soon as it arrived i put 3.55cfw and today i upgraded to 4.30 rogero cfw and all went well.... very happy i spent the hours reading heaps of threads here..

big thank you to rogero and GregoryRasputin and all the other members that contribute here....

cech01g here, 500 gb hd installed, Updated from rogero 3.55 3.7 , no brick although I see others reporting... Did qa flag.... thats it, nothing more.... might have just goten lucky, but whatever, I'm good to go.

General question for all - has anybody encountered a problem where as a game is loading game data, it stops , then informs you that it was, disc read error - had this with my slim 160Gb CEX 4.30 MM 4.08.01 whilst loading dishonored (proper-duplex).
Any ideas as to the cause / solution - greatly appreciated.

I like this tutorial, I do, it is nice, clean, simple... but I can't get to my mail at all cause the page tells me to come here... Getting a little annoying, can't PM or Mail so I have to go else where to try to talk to ppls...

FIXED: I have to hit the refresh button Everytime! I go to my Inbox to see what is actually there...
I deleted my messages, went elsewhere, then back to my Inbox only to find all of the messages I just deleted... so I hit refresh and all of them where gone... so I repeated the process to see if it happens again, it did.. don't know if this is affecting anyone else but hit refresh if unsure I guess

If you clicked the "here" that should be it sorted, if not, try cleaning your cookies.

Question 1: Just wondering how many people have had success with updating directly from rogero 4.21 to REX 4.21 as I have seen on post of success so far, but also wanted to know if there is any other issues that could arrise from this?

Question 2: Is there any signs of PS2 compatabilty in the near future?

AND TO FINISH, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKYOU TO ALL DEVS FOR ALL THERE HARD WORK.........

I am so glad to not be in the US, here a lot more is legal, and their is nothing that prevents us from doing with our own stuff what we want.
