First. YOU NEED TO BE ON 3.55, not 3.56 or 3.6, just 3.55

Second. Read the forums, all your questions will be answered.

I know, right! All they say is, "use google, you lazy ass", well guess how I got here? Google! It's retarded, it's been months and still not positive about what to do to jailbreak my PS3. All I know for sure at this point, is I have 4.21 so I need to downgrade to 3.55 using a hardware flasher like E3. But even at the E3 site, I can't be sure if that $100 is buying me everything I need r if I have to buy multiple things, or what the hell I need to do exactly.

i'll try to explain it all for you before that happens...

CFW can ONLY be installed from 3.55! if you are on OFW 3.6 then you are **** out of luck! (yes this include OFW 4.21, OFW 4.3)


if you are on a later firmware and wish to put your ps3 on 3.55, then you need to check to see if your console is compatible... i know you can find that on google as everyone else did....

then all you need is a hardware mod, i think e3 flasher is a good noob choose as there is no soldering... with that said, all you need is the flasher, and a downgrade dongle, that is 100$ for the e3 flasher and a "service dongle" which goes for around 10$ (you could even use a calculator or a few other things if you want to save yourself ten dollars)

I was being sarcastic. The sarcasm seemed so very obvious that I now feel embarrassed for you seeing how It was necessary to explain it publicly almost like the time my 7 year old (at the time) daughter became embarrassed after I explained to her why 1/4 after the hour was 15 minutes and not 25................of course she was only 7 at the time.
