Ok I'm stuck here. I'm on an old fat NAND machine, was on DEX, back to CEX (some form of Rogero 3.55, been a while so not sure which one...maybe v3.7?). I cannot run QA Toggle at all, it reboots and hangs on a blank screen. No beeps and nothing on the screen, just a green light. The button combo does nothing, debug is already there. I cannot even run updates, says the data is corrupted on anything. If I reboot in recovery to do it, it says there is no applicable update found.

QA toggle is working, onward to 4.30!!

Thanks for the guide. I've now got cfw 4.3 v1.00 installed and everything is looks good, games load fine.

One thing though.... QA Flag isn't working. It worked before I dropped down to kmeaw 3.55 and then again when I was on kmeaw 3.55 before this update.

Should I be concenrned about this? Would reinstalling QA flag help?

Error message is ""An error occurred during the start operation. (80010017)"

I have PS3 with 3.55 Kmeaw. It was never downgraded. My system came with 3.55 OFW. I Just followed your guide to install 3.55 Kmeaw. I needed to know if I have to be on 3.55 Kmeaw > 3.55 OFW > 3.55 Rogero > QA Toggle > Then 4.30CFW Even if I have never downgraded. Is it necessary because I refered Tortuga Cove and the tutorial there mentioned that you have to be on 3.55OFW\CFW to install the 4.30 Rogero CFW. If it is the safe way to go the long way can you please show me where I can find 3.55 Rogero CFW. I was unable to find it. I dont want to go on a hunt and find unreliable or corrupted PUPs.

Eh I went along with what I had. I just kept the QA toggle set and updated from 3.55 Kmeaw > 4.30 Rogero. Worked like a charm. Downloaded the latest Multiman and it works perfect. all my previous backups are still there and everything works fine. Thanks Itskamel

I installed the QA_flag.pkg and heard the 3 beeps but I cant seem to get the combo to work for me at all. I'm on rebug 3.55 and I've tried running the package more then once and restarting the system a few times and is the QA-flag NEEDED as I've had my console since it was on 3.15 then I installed 3.55 and been on that since. Any advice would be grateful. Thanks.

Just one question though:
I'm currently on 3.55 KMEAW CFW, and has been away from PS3 hacking ever since.

Based on your guide (if my understanding is correct), I can update directly to Rogero CFW 4.30 right?

I am on firmware 4.3 v1 and want to upgrade to 4.3 v2......what is the correct process?

I have tried to just go directly to v2 and that doesn't work...I am getting a corrupted file error....so I thought let's drop back to 3.55 OFW and then upgrade....not so fast...still getting the same error with the official 3.55 ......I doubt it is my pen drive I used to upgrade to v1 just a few days ago.
