Which cfw would you recommend? 4.30 cfw from rogero or 4.21 from rebug??

Hi, first of all: I'm sorry if I ask some questions that are allready been asked, but I'm quite a noob at this department

I bought a second hand playstation from a friend to jailbreak it. But he uploaded it quite recently to the 4.30 OFW, at first I've encoutered a couple of sites like this: *removed* which let me suggest that I could downgrade my playstation to 3.55 without a flasher. but when I pressed the links it just took me to some survey-spams, so I didn't trust it too much...

than later on I read these comments, and I've come to other sites like: http://tech4idiots.org/2012/10/29/ho...w-on-your-ps3/ which let me suggest that I need a flasher to downgrade it to 3.55

so the questions:
Do I or do I not need a flasher to downgrade my ps3 succesfully to 3.55?
And if I need a flasher: Is it easy to install? easy to downgrade with it? where can I order it and what's the cost?

If it is anything beyond 3.55 for the original firmware, you are out of luck. You will need a hardware flasher. A hardware flasher isn't for the feint of heart, either, and I wouldn't recommend anyone with light hardware skills to try it. You have a high probability of turning that expensive PS3 into an expensive addition to your local landfill.

So, in short, you're are out of luck to do it yourself. You can likely find trustworthy people you can ship it to, have them downgrade it with their flasher, and then ship it back to you, for a small fee.

I hope this isn't bad form here, but there is a good article on Tortuga Cove covering the same thing. I followed the guide here and the one on Tortuga Cove's site. The result was a clean upgrade from 3.55 Kmeaw to 3.55Rogero+4.30.

For what it is worth, I did not install the 3.55 original firmware in my upgrade process.

Success! Thanks for the guide, only difference was I made a nand dump. Like I listed above, CECHE01, previous firmwares(3.55 kmeaw, 3.55 ofw, tb cfw), never downgraded. Went straight from 3.55 Kmeaw to 4.30 rogero.

simple question,, I have kmeaw 3.55,
1 can install ofw 3.55
2 then i can install rogero 3.55 or 3.61 which is available for download
3 then install the Toggle QA and after confirming will go for rogero 4.30.1 which includes Multiman too

so if m wrong anywhere which i hope I am please guide m
