Anybody have wierd freezes when making fixed updates?

I fixed Angry Birds (EUR) and Sleeping dogs (1gb bigass update..).
Both games 'seem' to work from external w/ but simply freeze up shortly after starting.
(Same methodology for RE6 works fine, no freezing..)

Edit: Seems there is additional version/sdk check. I compared orignal Duplex eboot for sleeping dogs cracked and they changed the following:

Generic check

old:

new:
24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 34 00 01

Second check

I'm about to test if this one freezes or not

Edit: Tested & not fully working. These games are the new "We'll spam you to death with our update notification" type. Same thing/problem with AC3. Those two checks are not the only thing(s) that need to be patched.

PKG contains everything that original contained except resigned EBOOT and modified PARAM.SFO.

I read as:

1) i didn't create PES fix
2) Yes i download PATCH PKG from source site then i decrypt package, then resign eboot, modify param.sfo (3.500) and then create new PKG with new eboot and param
