I know that Cars 2 isn't on the list of most wanted fixes but since I have kids who love the game I had to make it work so that they could play it and I figured that there are others who are in the same situation as I who can benefit from this.

I know that there is a Cars 2 fix released already but the only one that I have found is for the Eur BLES01328 version and when you apply the fix it defaults the language to German with no option to change.

I have fixed the US BLUS30725 version and just figured that I would add my working fix to the growing list of fixes for our site.

Here is the fix :

Just replace the Eboot and Param files with the ones from the fix.

Tested on Rebug, Rogero, and Kmeaw 3.55 CFW

i already use that eboot patch.. im using cfw 3.55 kmeaw. but when im playing story mode kazumi vs lisa, its only hang, i need to reboot manually. even ps button not work. can anyone play this w/o problem?

Hey @baargle , finally i acquired a F1 2012 BLES01664 and i am triing to get the update 1.02 work.
First I tried the clean backup with the update and it says disc error.
Second tried only with unsane fix for BLUS version and the game works.
Third tried the update 1.02 with the unsane fix with BD MIRROR and the game starts but froze quickly, couldn't create even the profile. with other settings in multiman froze on loading page.
Fourth copied game to internal but had the same result, game starts but froze quickly.

Is there an specific fix for the BLES version?
I check the files and there is the same shaders.nfs.sdat if it matters.

Same here with the BLUS unsane fix...it works. I tried the same steps as you with no luck for the 1.02 update.
