3.55 game update pkgs
Hey guys,
With all the recently released keys for NPDRM, Appldr, etc. has anyone posted a tutorial or know of a way for the user to create the eboots for the game updates such as what N0DRM was doing? I believe the TrueAncestor Resigner is only works for the retail eboot not the update eboots |

TAER should work for updates too. Unless I have missed something...
 Try install the update file from a legit source, extract the eboot.bin (make a back up first and FTP the other eboot.bin from the dev_hdd0/game folders and try run it through TAER, and FTP it back to where it came from?

Im going to check it out now try it out on a random games update....
EDIT: URGH! FFS the only game that seems to ask me for an update is sleeping dogs and its a 900+mb download.... fml, wannat try something quick. EDIT2: Ok testing ridge racer unbounded 1.02 update.. will report back shortly.

it DOESNT work
 Downloaded 1.02 update for ridge racer unbounded, tryed to start the game, it errored (obviously because it was 4.x signed on my 3.55 kmeaw, I ftp'd the eboot .bin from the update folder to my laptop, resigned it using EP0700-BLES01341_00-RIDGERACER000102 as the data from the update ID, ftp'd it back... It loads, but has no sound, and freezes mid first race, (the 1.00 duplex fix froze after race 1) EDIT 2: Nope it doesnt work, no matter what I do... there must be more to it. @LeatherHead how do you make repacks for update pkgs?

I really would like to know. Ive meesed around with TAER and a few other methods today and still no luck. Would be nice if Duplex or N0DRM just told everyone how to do it

I updated the keys in scetool and extracted the files from pkg. I tried using BruteForce but said no license was found. I dont know if thats even the right way but I really wish there was an easy way to decrypt the updates. It almost makes me want to go to Rogero new cfw so i don't have to worry bout updates.

Ok i hope so
 . Its stressing me out because thats the only thing i cant figure out is the updates and than if i dont have them they stop me from playing online.

You mustn't have come across a *.SDAT yet... Unless you are on 4.xx cfw?
