Mutliplayer Issues on Resident Evil 5 and 6 on Rogero 4.21 and 4.30
Anyone got problems after updating to CFW 4.21 and 4.30 for Multiplayer games?
I have retail RE5 and RE6 on discs - they work perfectly fine for single player games and I can receive news lists of players through "Quickmatch" and "Custom matches", but while I try to join game - it always gives ""Failed to join game session" message. Switching to backup did not help, the same error shows up. Yet, I can join fat princess games, Modern Warfare 3 on disc, FIFA 13 on disc and DOA5 backup/on disc with the online pass without any issues. NAT Level 2 with UPnP support on ASUS RT-N56u. Directly connecting to the ADSL modem does not help, routing through Windows 7 either. Some have suggested this might be due to US server problems due to Sandy, but I am Asian based and I cannot connect to any Asian based players either. Is this something game specific or if the game is trying to get the machine ID (which zeroed out in the firmware?)? Thanks. Anyone on Rogero 4.21 and 4.30 yet found themselves able to play multiplayer games on RE5/RE6? I would be very appreciated if you can shed some light on my case. Thanks. |

While not much help I guess, I was playing a couple of nights ago the RE6 - SP campain with PSN on, and someone did join my game and we played together. So joining does work. In europe with Rogero's 4.3o and NAT moderate 2 or what's it called.
