i have the 40 gig version it was not a launch, it was the second, my ps3 is always quiet even playing cod5 for 18 hours straight and still no noise, u can hear little bit like normal but not enough to make me get up from 5 feet away to say something....

what model is your ps3 -20-60-40-80

what models of the ps3 is known to have the 19 blades for the fan since i think u mention it to be launch models, or japan models
