Hi i am still on 3.55 kmeaw cfw and just want to confirm the following before upgrading to this cfw:

1- I have changed my coldboot logo so do i have to change it back to original before upgrading to this cfw?

2- I changed the cert files in dev blind since i was using reactpsn so do i need to change it back to original before updating to this firmware?

I got it to work with a cech2512b. 3.55 kmeaw -> qa toggle -> 4.21.1 rex .

I need some info/checks before upgrading

- On Rebug 3.55.2 right now (spoofed as 4.31 with sen enabled)
- QA Flag should be enabled, but no way to check in rebug 3.55.2 it seems?
- Flash back to 3.55 OFW from recovery first then?
- Or go to 3.55.3 REX to check QA toggle is OK?
- Then from 3.55 rex -> 4.21 rex?

I made .bak files of all sfo / eboot / sprx so i should be good to go on 4.x

Stop using your own language, you're on an 'english' speaking board, so try to speak english or use google translate or whatever translator, it's not up to use to try and figure out which language you are talking and use a translator, normally you're posts are ignored by 99% of the people as they have no clue what you're talking about.. So just learn english if you can't speak english..
So people, do not respond in their own language, but in english, do not encourage people to use their own language in an english speaking forum.


Now ontopic again:

It's been asked a few times now in this thread, but never answered:
Does homebrew signed for 3.55 still work on REX 4.21 or does it have to be resigned as with the rogero CFW.

And speaking of Rogero CFW, he also does a hell of a job, but the difference between him and the Rebug team is, Rebug team keeps the beta's to themselves and a select group for testing before publicly releasing their CFW's, Rogero doesn't have a 'team' like that and uses the public to test his CFW's (which he also warns when he has a CFW to test, but people just don't seem to read the warning and go ahead and cripple their PS3 and then blame Rogero for it).. And the long testing period Rebug uses also explains why there still isn't a 4.30 version of their REX (as explained by them somewhere else), in the end we'll see a 4.30 or higher version as well.. Problem for Rebug is they also have DEX functionalities in their CFW and therefore also rely on a higher DEX firmware (and the higher DEX seems to create some problems at the moment)..

That was finicky , The game does require 4.25 , But not with the update so why bother ? Everyone will have updates installed if they aren't stupid
