yes, the firmware indeed works but after seeing the message of hdd corruption , i thought that i needed to format hdd and re-download and transfer my files back .
but if you say im fine as it is, then no problem.
i'll remember that installing and downgrading this firmware is done only through xmb,not recovery.

Hey guys I just downgraded from 4.31ofw via e3flasher....followed the guide and now I have successfully installed 4.21.1 rebug rex, spoofed it to 4.31 via rebug toolbox and installed multiman provided in this thread...

The problem is that none of my backed up and downloaded games work...
I have tried:
fifa 13 BLES01676
Sports Champions 2 BCES01598
Batman Arkham city BLUS30538

I have saved the games file in devhd00/GAMEZ...all the games run till the move intro and then jump out to the XMB menu...please help!!!

I have a fat PS3 with 3.55 Kmaew. I've read the tut and it seems fairly simple, but here is my question:

My blu-ray drive is broken. So I can only play games that run discless. I've asked in numerous forums which new cfw offered the best discless compatibility, and they all said rebug 4.21. I'm just wondering if this is true or should I stay on kmaew, since in a few of your posts @itskamel said to run with a disc in the drive.
