PS3 Slim Drive Help - PS3Hax Network

My Laser was not working right so I replaced the laser. After putting the new one in. The drive just takes the game now releases the game and then picks it back up. I can see the laser move down the rail and come back but I do not see it light up or drive spin. Here is a video of the problem.....

I did not make this video but I am having the same problem. Does anyone know why this is doing it and how I can fix it
