I've run all of the Recovery Menu options (I had nothing to lose), none of them made any difference.

It wouldn't have anything to do with the E3 flasher.....would it?
I have it flashed as a dual boot. Would it make a difference if I pull it out and put in the flasher that has the Samsung multi use flashed on it? Just thinking out loud but if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Thank you |

i can say that i had this problem, and i just tested it on mine and indeed when you turn on the ps3 with the controller it will not connect.
so did the recovery thing and reboot several times, but now my controller that i use to start up the ps3 will not connect, but my second controller will when i push psbutton?? :S so that is not good behavior.... EDIT/ pressing the power manually for starting and then waith for xmb to show up, then press psbutton works.
