imagine this lol bidder buys the game ,then they try it out on the ps3 online , gets banned then have to buy a new ps3 . classic

£126.00 so far + £46 delivery = mug , 7 days till bo 2 gets release

the winner still got 14 hours till they win , then posting it to them 2- 3 days , so in the end over £150 to play a game 2-3 days before it comes out with a risk of a banned ps3 for bo2

Yet another misconception a lot of people will have..."Oh well there are legit copies out. How do they know we aren't all on legit copies?"

Well to answer that:
1.)You use MM on PSN (most of you)
2.)Breaking Street date is usually tracked down
3.)They know not this many users will have obtained a copy, from a retailer that broke Street date.

Nothing at the guy posting the ebay link, because I find it funny how much they are asking, it just made that thought go through my mind.....Sorry my mind actually works when I have had some sleep. Insomnia sucks

That ebay auction is rediculous. I mean sure its a new game before its date (few days) way to overprized and risk of a ban..plus its just COD.. i mean its it was BF4.... OKAY..

Yes and no. I love my PC. So many options, so much room to customize, always room to upgrade and improve (hardware and software), I can run homebrew, I can use an online service, I have all the features I want in a console plus some, and Steam is so damn cheap

Sadly there are no great exclusives like PS3 has, tons of cheaters (cheat systems have vastly improved but still aren't perfect) and it can be an expensive habit. What you may save on games, you make up for with hardware upgrades on a much faster scale than buying a console every 6-8 years. Also dont get me started on crappy ports....coughs Darksiders 2 and Dark Souls. Now both are great after updates or mods, but still crappy ports.

I love my PC. It is the greatest gaming device I own, but it isnt ready to take the place of having at least one console in my house....yet

yeah true , i just wait till it gets released then i buy it , ,much cheaper than ebay post . before we know it, it will be the released date .

Well, its about time they realize PC is the future! But games like BF3..are perfect on a PC; man i cant even aim with a controller. That aside, it was always an excuse to say that PC was so easy to pirate bla la but that has allready changed with the years, the graphics and controls are (imo) 10x better than on a ps3/xbox360 plus you can do absolutly everything with a PC.

Consoles are just easy peasy target, marketing aiming for a majority of youth, everything works simple, no hassle, no upgrading, no nothing.. (yea a bigger hdd maybe)

We will always have the best of both worlds but will remain as underdogs.

LOL I still use a controller. I grew up a console gamer and moving to a keyboard and mouse over a controller isn't my cup of tea. I see why lots of people do it, but I am too cheap to buy a good gaming KB and mouse, and I would still prefer to play with what I am used to using.

But I agree with everything else. Cheating has gone way down, the games **** all over console games (even a bad port of Darksiders 2 kills console counterparts) and I like being able to run an emulator, use a web browser, play with code, and countless other things that doing on a console is made impossible, improbable, or wrong because a company tells me it is wrong. Also a plus for me with steam is that there is no used games market, and no need for physical retailers that employee morons. Some people hate steam because of DRM practices, but I have never had an issue with them, their DRM, or any of their practices. I get cheap games, that I can play online for free like PSN, with a more secured anti cheat and moderation system in place.
