I don't know why is this thread needed. When PSJB was released (or the tweesys clone), PSN was available at the time and everybody used fake PSN titles under their statues. Concerns arised and people used stealth mode, but nothing happened. Years later, when PSN was available by spoofing the creds, people used fake titles again, and nothing still happened.

Again, nothing will happen this time. Sony won't care. But they might start caring and banning people when we can decrypt patches (game updates), cheat online and millions of legit users' complains. As of now, we can't decrypt game updates in public. So, nothing to worry about now.

When PSJB was released, Sony hadn't given people warnings.

Also it's better to be cautious than not.

I was under the impression that the PS3 sent it data regardless of psn status, as long as the ps3 had access to the internet. It is possible I misunderstood the privacy patch script in MFW? I cant wait for a new release of MFW. So if I am right then everyone is still f#ckd, unless they have been carefull from the start. It may also be useless, but I made a new psn account after updating to 4.3 cfw. It still pisses me to be forced into a psn agreement. (end rants)

Yeah what I can't understand is why haven't these pitfalls been removed from the system during the cfw process? Who leaves bloatware on a rooted phone or in this case a jailbroken ps3?!
