Ps3 cech2504b NOR Bricked

Hi my ps3 got bricked when i was doing the restore bin process and it only stays on for 5 seconds before it turns off, so I checked around and found out if I solder Sbe to Tristrate the ps3 would stay on for me to flash my backup bios on. So I decided to solder Sbe to Tristrate and now ps3 wont stay on longer then 5 seconds in Flash fun mode or without flash fun mode can anyone help me ? Also I checked the clip is properly seated on MB, btw I am using E3 flasher

Try this. Solder the wire from tristate to a ground point on the ps3. Then turn e ps3 on and see of it still turns off. It should turn on and stay on with no video. If so, then you can try the unbrick the console by reflashing your bios, but after flashing your bios back, you will have to cut the wire you soldered or unsolder it to regain video output. There are plenty of guides out there for that. Report back if you have any questions or success.

Hi thanks for your reply, I dont understand what you mean but solder the wire from tristate to a ground point on ps3 :/ ? also I was on another forum and saw a picture of tristate i think I have soldered to the wrong one :/, if you come across a picture for motherboard jsd-001 could you circle which one is the right one so I know which one to resolder to ?

What I meant was solder a wire from the nor tristate, to any ground point on your console. There are several ground points to choose from. This would let you turn the console on and stay on so you can reflash for unbricking purposes. It does the exact same thing as soldering the wire from sbe to tristate. Only difference is, soldering to the sbe point is better because it gives you a switch to connect and disconnect the wire. The other way where you solder to ground, you have to disconnect or unsolder the wire when you are done to get video output again. I only told you to do it this way because the sbe to tristate wasn't working for you, but since you didn't get it to the right point, I would find the right point and solder from it to the sbe. Ps3devwiki has pictures of pinouts for different ps3 motherboards. Try to find you board there and see if there is a tristate location for you. Good luck.

I looked on ps3devwiki turns out I soldered to right point, but it doesn't work, could you tell me to which ground point I should solder the Tristan's cable to ?

Nor tristate Location. http://www.google.com/search?q=jsd-0...3FFaoH0fCNqzM:
Any ground point works. Truely....it doesn't matter. There are tons to choose from. Just go with a ground point that is near by the tristate for easy purposes.

i mean solder a wire from the nor tristate to a ground point. It doesnt need to go the ribbon cable. it can go from nor tristate on motherboard to a ground point on the motherboard. look at a pinout and you will see multiple ground solder points on the motherboard. choose one and go with it.

im not sure if this is your motherboard type or not, but it will be something like that. find the points on your motherboard revision and solder them like that.
