Buying: CFW Ps3 Slim ~80GB

Within the next month or so, I am hoping to buy a PS3 with the above specs and am wondering where is the place to grab one and what a fair price would be. Within the US.

Knowing that these are sold here also, I figured I'd post and get your feed back.

Thanks in advance.

Slim as I understand the superslim is unable to be downgraded so it can run CFW and in turn, no 'backups'.

80gb is no standard. You should go looking for either 120/160 or 320GB

hard drive size is irrelevant. you can always upgrade the hard drive with ease, 600GB hard drives are cheap as chips. it's all about the version on the console. if you can find one on 3.55 or below at a reasonable price, buy it. I'd suggest second hand shops, I think you call them pawn shops.

Great info, bud. I actually had no idea that you could simply upgrade the HDD like that. The infos greatly appreciated. Is ~180 a reasonable price for one?

Reasonable, yes. Should be able to barter to $160 if you find one though.
