Since there are so many questions and I'm the only mod that is not negative about the True Blue I decided to make a F.A.Q.

Before you can use those TB game patches to play 3.60+ games on your CFW 3.55 you need a couple of things.

- True Blue dongle (Duh)
- True Blue CFW - (DOWNLOAD)
- Latest Dongle Updater v2.4 (DOWNLOAD)

1. Install the True Blue CFW
Best way to install the True Blue CFW is doing this trough the PS3's recovery mode.

Download the True Blue CFW and extract it. Create in the root of your usb stick an PS3 folder, and in that PS3 folder an UPDATE folder. Place the PS3UPDAT.PUP in the UPDATE folder. So you have:

USB://PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

1. Turn off your Playstation3.
2. Hold The power button down (don't release!); The system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2nd beep take finger off power button.
5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
7. Choose the last option to install firmware.

Follow onscreen instructions and install the True Blue firmware. You will keep the same options as on your Kmeaw 3.55 and without a dongle those 3.55 games will still run.

2. Update your dongle
Download the latest True Blue Dongle updater. At this moment v2.3 is the latest firmware released. Do not insert your dongle until onscreen instructions say's so.

1. Download the PKG and place it in the root of your FAT32 usb stick
2. Install the Dongle updater trough "Install Package Files"
3. Run the Dongle updater and follow onscreen instructions. During the setup it asks you to insert the dongle, and after it's done flashing it restarts your PS3.

3. Play Games
Before you can play a game on the True Blue dongle you need special True Blue patches. So not all 3.60+ games are working, only the games that have a patch released by the True Blue team. It all depends on the True Blue Team.

1. Download the patch and extract the files.
2. Replace the files from the patch in your ripped release.
3. Done


Q: When will the dongle be hacked?
A: Don't know? People are working on it. You can check progress on the PS3DevWiki

Q: When will "Game X" patch released?
A: Don't know, it's up to the TB team. They haven't released a schedule or something.

Q: Can I rip those games that are only available on TB Bluray to my harddrive.
A: No they are specially made that they only work on disc. They will not work on HDD. If you really want it you need to copy the BDR to make those games work.

I have a true blue dongle butt i can play assassins creed 3 because true blue is stopped? i hear that you just can use 3.55 kmeaw ore something?

first i am verry bad in english i am from the netherlands so if you dont understand me just say it.

I just wanna know what can i do wich break do i need? and how will i do it so i can play the lastest games just like assassins creed 3. thanks a lot!
