GT5 Update help needed - not sure what to do

Hello,

I can't find anywhere confirmed method about updating, so I'm starting this thread, hoping for help.

How i see it. I found this on patch list:
***"
GT5 - BCES00569 2.04 update fix - (Install all Patches (1.05-2.04) then Install this Fix.pkg)
http://www21.zippyshare.com/v/47024323/file.html
Thanks @_D_S_

GT5 BCES00569 - 2.08 update fix
http://www49.zippyshare.com/v/31070232/file.html
Thanks @_D_S_
***"

So basically, if I want to apply update 2.04, i would have to install patches in mentioned order, and install 2.04 Fix at the end, and that's it? No fixes needed for every individual update?

Since there is also 2.08 fix, can I follow same procedure all up to 2.08 update, and then just install 2.08 fix, and that would be that?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, that is what you do if you are on cfw3.55 and want the game patched. I did the same exact thing with my bcusxxxxx copy of GT5 before I upgraded to 4.30cfw Rogero.
Start at update 1.05 and proceed in order (don't skip any updates) all the way to 2.08 and then the 2.08 fix. Obviously you have the pal version as you're using a bces00569 patch fix? Worked fine for me until upgrading cfw. Good luck.

All is true, cfw 3.55, PAL version. I will do it like that. Thank you.

Just curious, why start from 1.05, I'm on 1.00 atm, are 1.01-1.04 useless? I think I will install every single update until 2.0x.

1.01 - 1.04 have been abandoned and aren't necessary. If they were necessary they would be included in the sony update list. To check the update list you can go to the sony xml page, or you can use an update finder to get the same info.

For example http://yifan.lu/psn/?titleid=BCUS98114&env=np is a web based update finder
(notice that I used BCUS98114 - you need to use whatever game id you want to update)

For the sony xml you want this:
Code:
https://a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/tpl/np/BCUS98114/BCUS98114-ver.xml
or
https://a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/tpl/np/<game-id>/<game-id>-ver.xml

Very useful.

Maybe someone has a site to dowload, on http://store.brewology.com are only updates up to version 2.04, which is fine, but link for 2.04 fix is broken, so I would like to get up to 2.08

Thank you.

### Oh, now i see I can download them from links @s_j provided. ###
