When I first plugin the Progskeet Slave board to my laptop, I get a solid green light on the slave board, but the error pops up in my computer tray and says "device driver software not successfully installed" and it goes to an unknown device in my device manager.
I go to device manager, click on the unknown device, just for reference want to mention that it says Windows has stopped the device because of problems(code 43), then I go to update the driver.
I browse to the folder that the correct drivers are in from the Progskeet website (drivers_winusb_111121?), click next, and then it won't update to them.
It keeps saying "the best driver software for your device is already installed," and it stays labeled as an unknown device. I can't get past this to properly install the driver so it's recognized as Progskeet.
See this video , hope it helps :

Decoy, were you able to dump CFI before dumping/flashing? Working on a DYN-001 board at the moment that I know which NOR chip it has but am dumping CFI as a matter of testing.

The reason I'm asking is because erasing then dumping the erase doesn't yield all zero's

EDIT: Also on another note, how long did it take you to flash? Hopefully not the 5 hours I just waited?

Thanks man. The price is far better than great for me. Definitely worth trying it. Do you know also where to get clips for 60GB fat ps3 ?

I am noob, so please correct me if i am doing something wrong.
I purchase this kit right here.
http://hardstore.com/default.asp?cmd...=2084&pType=-1 it includes :
1, main board
2, slave board
3, adapter board - for connecting clips etc
4, injectus

It ships empty so i have to flash correct dat file to it via injectus.
Is this only kit i need ? Except development board and some kind of clips ?

Decoy, I appreciate the replies. However, still no go. That said, do I need to have everything soldered and connected to the PS3 before trying to get my PC to recognize the driver? Right now I'm just using Progkeet to Slave board to USB trying to get the driver recognized? Maybe it's because I don't have anything connected to Progskeet from MOB yet?
************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************
Also, maybe you or somebody else might be able to help with this question. I have the original relase date CECHA01 PS3 (cok-001 mob) PS3. NAND on top and bottom of the board. On PS3devwiki it has some pictures of the test points, but says not to use. Elsewhere I read, though haven't seen an example, that I need to solder directly to the NAND chips. Can anybody confirm if this is the case, and possibly provide a picture if so?

Also, I haven't really seen a picture of a soldered Progskeet 1.2 yet. Do I solder the points on the bottom of the Progskeet, or to the pads on the topside?

I just want to make sure I lay this all out right before doing anything. It doesn't seem as if anybody has posted about successfully using a Progskeet 1.2 as of yet for NAND mob's. Thanks in advance for the help!

well, about the usb reconizing, you just need the progskeet connected to slaveboard connected to pc via usb.. NOT THAT HARD..

and about the soldering, i already have pics of it, and you have to solderit in the bottom ofcourse.. where it says P1... P2 .. And the rest of the P'S

dumping cfi neverworked for the new progskeet however its supposed to say some think is not found QRY or something like that,, when it say so take that as a yes(connected and working)

till now im trying to flash the ps3 but im having difficult times , it seems that my ps3 is not CO-Operating .

about nand's , i duno that much about it coz i use nor, but i assume you need clips... because soldering nand memory is a "mission impossible"

yes thats where i got it , same link... for you, a fat ps3, not all clips are compitable, so soldering is where you are heading,, unless its compitable..

one last thing you need.. is a programmer USB.. because after you downgrade you have to enter Service mode to finish the downgrade and that requires a DONGLE

i bought mine from Eurasia.com and its called Eclips3.. google it and understand what it does
