Are the Nintendo DS emulators abandoned projects of the PS3?
Recently there has been news for people attempting to port or it may be poasible to port PSP and N64 emulation to the PS3. What happened to NDS emulation for PS3? It seems to me the project was abandoned by several groups trying to emulate NDS.

Arikado was porting DS to wii, and I think it was he and dancing ninja that started to port for PS3.
I havent seen or heard from them in months!

N64 is all that missing on the ps3 its a shame that it hasnt been done yet
hopefully some one gets it working on ps3 now would be a good time while every things on a roll

Well I guess people have the knowledge and tools to do any emulation project for the PS3 but not the time to dedicate to them. Hopefully soon their focus will be shifted or it has already have but their not completed yet. If they are they can always release betas. Unfortunately some people like to present finished projects to people than rather of having them unfinished. All we can do is have patience then.

i'm glad they cancelled it! this scene doesn't deserve it imo maybe thats the reason the xbox 360 has it

Just for people who don't know, DeSmuMe got recently a PPC64 JIT for old Macs. People could base their ports on this, it shouldn't need any modifications and it would make dozens of times porting easier and better.

Now we just need someone with porting knowledge to pick it up and maybe in future @Twinretro could add it to retroarch
