Afaik, Sony only secured the cech-3xxx consoles with new hardware, not the Cech-2504 (but still having bootldr2).
Could these consoles be used to dump the bootldr2?

I think the large majority of people on 3.56+ OFW are waiting for a way to downgrade or patch that doesn't involve buying flashing tools. Especially after the LV0 leak.

Or is this unlikely to ever happen and nobody is really working on finding an exploit for higher firmwares?

Well... i managed to get a dump and write it back, but when i patched with the three musketeers patch i get the brick. is there a nor tristate solder point to try to keep the ps3 on and flash it with the original dump?

This thread smells fishy. Why would he private message you with these keys, when he could just private message one of the mods or admins on this website and make the news available easily & faster? Private messaging a random and non-mod user on this forums doesn't guarantee the news being public made at all. This is assumed if the keys are real, of course.

Anyway, I have a 2504B. This one has bootldr2 (shipped with 3.60) . If it can be read with a flasher could this get us the lv0.2 key?

well anything helps,still the @JuanNadie exploit, was done with otherOS,so if you can install that on you console,maybe there is an change.
Also need peek/poke, but that might be byte patched.

Maybe because I'm good looking.
I know for certain the isoldr key is legit. I asked someone I trust if the lv2ldr key is legit also and they said yes so I posted it. I could have taken it to crunch where it would have been front paged by someone straight away but I put it here.

It makes me wonder, who you know who already knows all of this to be able to confirm it the second its found out....
