not sure if it's console or account. I've heard of people creating new accounts on same console logging on joining game for 2 mins and bam! servers not available

If it was a account ban you would not even be able to sign into psn. Unless trey arch banned your blackops name

well I'll start another account and see what happens. I would like to here from someone that never tried to go online before release and didn't install the nuketown 2025 map.... currently to many possablities at the moment. mac addy ban seems like worst case

LOL , perhaps waiting till the game is officailly released . online would work around midnight tonight. i have compleatly dissconnected my ps3 from the net and everything before i even tried playing BLOPS2.

Anouther thing is .. perhaps each retail disk has a file sepecific for each copy. containing its own personal online ID. there for if this Duplex relelease you would have many many of the same ID trying to log on , ergo BAM easy to spot out the pirates. if you think about it with cod they are not F$#KN around .

I have just changed my MAC and am on the way back up to rex.not sure if i want to load the game up now to see if its the MAC i think best to wait i get the game in about 3 hours.if it boots up fine then.it must be MAC ban.

I think it's only a console ban. Elite still shows all of my stats and classes and a friend of mine said i'm still on the leaderboard. I guess i'll find out officially tomorrow.

This game is highly infected with spyware... Yesterday i created a different account a nd i manage to play multiplayer again, after 5 minutes i got banned again. I tryed to create a third account but no luck this time, the game crashed on treyarch loading screen... I think PSN does a check up in some way when the game is loading then detects CFW or a Backup being used and somehow freezes the game...

on the first black op the account you got ban on carried the console ban with it.so if you went onto another ps3 with that account the console got ban to.i would for safe sake start a complete new account if you on your ofw console.

i just find it strange some people creating new account wi same mac code and gaining success again albeit temporary
