cheers for this explains that if sony get a polite email all there gunna do is psid ban or psn account ban which both have work arounds.

if someone could be kind enuff to dump the eboot and selfs from an original disc i mite be able to figure out abit more

and its defo instabans most wanted has started doing the same thing wont load when logged in and hard resets when logging in during game

If they are detecting something it's the CFW, I've just tried an original disc on a brand new account and got banned within a few minutes.

It Starts all with PS3GAME.BG0 this generates The PS3GAME.BG1 -> ps3path.bup
We have to Figure Out what generates BG0 im pretty Sure it lies within the 1.02 Update.
Or it could be that, while being online treyarch Sends some Files to the HDD to Check where the Game is placed that may explain the ps3path Data, I've Changed the hex Code from the ps3path data file to /dev_dvd/ps3_game to let The Checks (if there are some) think that its a blu Ray, it Doesnt worked, the Server are Open, as i could See that there are Playing a Ten thousands

*wrong place to ask but how do your turn black ops 2 into a XMB game? like from the store? thinking of downgrading to 3.55 ofw and seeing if it makes a difference

whas there anything in BO1 that stated a server address withing the selfs .bin ect?

this is purely just a guess atm but i think the diffrence in server ver to game ver and the message about settings changed is something to do with server address withing the selfs

if u watch close when clicking play online (Press Traingle for friends apprears bottom right) then within a second its gone and errors up seems to me like its semi connecting then as we are flagged were redirected

also this would explain why theres no ban message

ive created multiple psn accounts all with the same outcome, ive proxied my connection same results

have also changed mac addy this got me on for all of 2 mins and bam errors up

so theres def file checks and/or sys flags being set

im pretty sure these are all related to Multiman and the way it emulates ( @deank would need to confirm?) you are correct in the fact there servers could be cross checking files that are loaded into cache or simply placed outside of their intended places it could even be multiman's emu process thats giving us away.

Legit users are crashing also and it's because of their servers I would think.
