ok delete the driver if the old one u use the 1st install is still on the ps3 , then install FLIP 3.42 then put the dongle in your PC, the RED led will appear, you then remove it, and then right away insert it again, then right away remove it again, and then right away insert it again, and then right away remove it again insert it again and bang if you got it right the BLUE led will suddenly light up , and your PC will ask the first time to install the USB device drivers for the ATMEGA32U2 chipset it detected. then u should be able to search for the driver manualy the driver is in the FLIP 3.42 folder eg check this pic

do you have a download link for 3.4.2 i cant seem to find it
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* are you sure the windows will detect the device as a ATMEGA32U2 chipset ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* it didnt work the windows detects the dongle as a HID-compliant device and installs the drivers automaticlly and when go to device manager and try to update the device manually it says that there are no drivers found for your device |

it didnt work
now the computer detects the dongle as a 'bootloader' but still installs the drivers automatically his name is bootloader not avr dfu bootloader ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* update when I load up Flip and try to go to Settings -> Communication -> USB Pops up a dialog where I can click Open or Cancel. Open fails and I get "Could not open USB device". the error "atlibusbdfu.dll not found" is gone but still cant connect to the avrkey and i cant install the drivers. pic:
