Hello

Im almost ready to start downgrading my ps3.
There is only 1 final thing that i need to know.
Im gonna downgrade using a e3 flasher and im using the tutorial from baileys.
My question is: On the tutorial it says finnish the downgrade in service mode.
I own a ps3break dongle V1.1 and the tutorial says Turn the ps3 back off insert your dev usb board (programmed with the correct files) into the right usb slot.
So how do i get my ps3break dongle to work correctly? Where do i find the correct files for my ps3break dongle?

This is the final part where i am confused about.
Could someone pls help me out?

I think there is no need to update the dongle as it will work.

So i should not do anything to the dongle at all?

I mean to ask what does programmed with the correct files mean?
Just the original files that were delivered with the dongle?
Or should i reprogram the dongle with something else?

Do i not need to modify my ps3break with some software?
I just wanna be sure before i start downgrading cause if it's not gonna work
ill be hanging without a ps3

if the dongle only is to get in service mode my guess is, that if you do not have the correct files you just don't enter service mode, and no harm is done..

Yes i know that but if i start now with downgrading and if i dont have the correct files to enter the service mode than i will be stuck there and cant continue downgrading, thatwhy im asking where i can get the correct files for the ps3break dongle to enter service mode. any help?

So reprogramming the ps3break is nessesary.

maybe @carldenning or @playerkp420 can help out, they seem to be experienced members.

i never had to use a dongle myself.

Nobody knows if i can use ps3break and how to use it to downgrade after i patched my dump and flashed my ps3 to get in fsm? How do i use the dongle do i need to flash the ps3break dongle or not? does it work with just the 1.70 update on the dongle or do i need other Hex file to flash the dongle Cmon someone has to know this?

Have you used the ps3break dongle before, or is this the first time?
