PS3 wont update
Ok, so I have an E3 Flasher and I started out on 4.31. I noticed on Friday that a 4.30 CFW was released and decided to try it out. So I did as it said, downgraded to 3.55 blah blah blah and result was 4.30 CFW booting just fine. I messed around with some of my games patches etc and decided to go back to 4.31. So I tried to do the fast dual boot swap (as I have the limited edition version). I followed a PDF that I downloaded from here this morning. Realised I didn't have the SBCE soldered so I did so and cut the wire between A and B. Now here is where I'm having problems. I put the 4.30 bios on the on board NOR on the E3 Flasher as CFW, so I unplugged it, flipped it to OFW and continued the PDF. Now it says to update back to 4.31 but thats the problem. It's asking for 4.30 so I give it 4.31 but it gives me "The data is corrupted. 8002F153". So I tried flipping it back to CFW (after unplugging it again) and see if that would work. Samething when I gave it 4.30 CFW to reinstall in the syscon. Now I refuse to loose my data on my OFW HDD. What should I do?
I've thought about re-doing the downgrade leading back up to 4.30 CFW and trying again or would it be the same outcome? Last edited by tehpirate; 11-11-2012 at 10:13 AM. Reason: changed title |
