So basically after you beat the game you gain the ability to find pivots,which have nothing to do with the storyline, but with cheats.

So in order to find them you have to be online,they are spawned somewhat randomly and to determine the location you need a map. The map itself can't even be opened without the PSN connection. So has anyone ever stumbled upon a offline solution. Or is there a safe way to connect to PSN. But better a fix... I'm running 3.55 kmeaw wouldn't want to update... Thanks in advance to those who'll aid... those who'll moan - pls don't bother to reply

Edit: Plus it might not settle with a PSN connection, i think it communicates with the ubisoft server which would require a account with a valid game key... just sayin

Come on, there is no off-line solution for something that has to be connected online.
You need that connection to psn.

The problem is if you're not satisfied with his answer, you could just ask him to be a bit more specific in a polite manner. He gave you a solution (though you did mention you do not want to update) and because you're not satisfied with it you respond in a very rude manner which will make other people NOT want to help you out.

Anyway, as you said it most likely requires communication with Ubisoft servers and that cannot possibly be reproduced, so I doubt you'll find an offline fix.
You do have PSN enablers available, but keep in mind you may get your console banned. You shouldn't expect to get all functions working on a modded system though.

Simply put, most people here understand his meaning instantly, and need no further information. I would take his post as: "get rebug for psn access without much effort". Even though you're new, many people here have low post counts as they've been lurking for a long time.

Perhaps Hannibal could have been more specific, especially due your newer status, but he definitely does not "owe" you any more than he gave you. I am sorry that this still sounds like we're ganging up on you, but Hannibal is an experienced and valued member here. The amount of people who come in, stir up trouble, and leave, leads us to be rather defensive of our older members.

Be warned Sony pulls out the Banhammer now and then, but as far as I know, it's been awhile. Please inform us of your success or failure in getting this working on AC3. If an offline solution somehow becomes available, we'll post it.
