I find it very odd that if Sony is able to instantly identify that we are on cfw why I have been allowed onto the sony store all morning re-downloading my previously purchased content and installing it on my cfw? I have logged on and off several times with no issue whatsoever.

well just seems all of a sudden sony says blah blah blah but if u think about it it happend with the first black ops mybe sony are taking advantage of this and scareing u into thinking its gona be across the network ban all other games seem fine just stay away from black ops 2 for a bit and leave the devs sort it or Anonymous to pee up there backs again ... just a thought they have only metioned it after the spray of comments on thinking your banned from black ops every1 going to sony crying i think im banned i only had the game early sony knows what gets solded so there thick so sonys said well threting they will all get banned on psn if there using CFW that ill stop them using at least some divs but u think about it wouldnt the just of said this b4 they released black ops 2

I just dont see how this will logically play out in Sony's favor given the off chance that your scenario is true, which I do not believe. At some point after Treyarch servers are fixed (assuming they are not functioning correctly........Im dubious) someone will try and log onto and if allowed to play they will most certainly post their experience online for all to read and then Sony will look stupid. I think they indeed have a way of detecting pirate games and have full intention of imposing a ban to eliminate us all.

was wondering what sony was going to do about the black ops II, every year xbox has a major update when COD comes out(wich equals a ban wave) figured sony was just going to come out with a new FW tp stop us, well this is a little extreme.
i am going to say this is for all the peeps that downloaded the leaked copy of BO II, and this is there way of gettin em.
i am going to play today with a retail disk, if i get banned o well i consider it a luxury and luck that we are able to be online.
the only thing i do is play online i dont buy anything from them and i have no "pirated" psn stuff.

would ps3 ninja be considered a stealthy way? since it erases history? i load MM then pick game then run ninja. then i plug network in and launch game. i connect in game and not xmb.

sony has never looked stupid befor they said the exact same on black ops 1 about a ban wave emergine and so what i get banned i love offline play of games as much as online and ill just go out buy the game and play it on my nice unhacked ps3 but sony will always get fingered hard as past has proving ill post a link l8r on the same thing sony said on ops 1 acualy research it yourself im not worried and also i was just throuing out ideas all great things come from ideas and like i said nothing was metioned prior to plp contacting sony saying there banned b4 the knew the facts early days yet its still day 1 so lets see how it pans out the worst they can do is ban me still be able to play copys and play the rare game i even like on PSN wow i will loose trophys what will i ever do loosing my trophys online witch give me abslout nothing for me

So, by your logic, people who use a debug or test firmware with PSN access is also classified as unauthorized use? No, it's not. Proven that you have it legitly, of course, but either way, Sony cannot prove it.

Hell, Sony can't even tell if you're a real developer with a legit debug FW. It'd too impractical and silly of Sony to e-mail you, asking for a proof or risk ban. That's not how Sony works.

It's a lot easier for Sony to check if you're using pirated games (due to the fact that every single Blu-Ray disc is unqiue) or use cheats online. If you honestly think that a simple CFW or debug FW are worse than piracy or online cheating, then maybe you really need to reevaluate your own brain.
