Banned for wether having played to God Of War ascension demo not released or having left open Multiman for over 10 hours while logged on psn

I somehow got away with console ban... (sony probably loved my money)

on the sidenote, I noticed a lot of my friends being banned starting yesterday

At this rate I'm probably next. lol Although I don't understand Sony's reasoning in perm banning accounts. I understand console bans, account bans make no sense, you're just pushing away a potential sale.

Microsoft has it right, ban console, let them come back by buying another console and rinse and repeat. Account banning kills doesn't give anyone motivation to come back. Eventually all this unbanning will be gone, hell, it's even starting now. Soneone releases something and you'd be lucky if it lasts a day.

What happens then? Either they give up on their ps3 and focus on another console or do the right thing and build a pc.

I called Sony and asked why but they didn't seem to have an answer for me. Apparently both my PSN and console. I had tons of purchased content attached to it and even PS+ they didn't care. The customer service guy was a real dick too.

Just got the email other day. Same thing. Console and profile ban.
i would love how to spoof my console. I have a few ps3's laying aroind out of service. That never been online

Stealing console ID's is the only way online now this sucks. Oh well all I want is a way to use netflix/hulu/youtube while banned/unable to log in.
