Pullup stands for pullup resistor, true. When you solder R8 than there is a 10k pullup (pin RDY) for solderless nor. When you solder R7 then there there are two 10k resistors (pin Ry/By) for each nand one. So you don't have to solder the pullups, you just have to solder R7 (NAND) or R8 (NOR).

Ok, so i finally done it.Please dont get to excited.I have finally downgrade my Ps3 Slim but not with this crappy programer.I simple gave up from keep on trying with progskeet 1.2.Can you guys believe it that even the dumps i made where wrong?Yes, 4 dumps checked with many HEX file compared programs and they all look like the same, but after write them down with good material E3 Flasher Programer, the Ps3 still on Brick stage. My lucky was the great three muskteers patch software that it use just a little piece of the dump code and i succeed to get my ps3 on Service Mode and upgrade it to CFW 4.3 E3 .The E3 flasher worth every euro that it cost.Solid Material, and work 100%.After that, i made more 2
ps3 Slim, and they all done good. Now im working on a ps3 dual nand 60GB , and unfortunately i will have to use progskeet 1.2 because the E3 dosent support NAND Machines only NOR.Does any one know if someone ever succeed to read and write NAND (not NOR) with this piece of shi..programer?Lets face it, its impossible by now making it work with NOR memory, but perhaps it does work with NAND.

If someone have some advice to to me, please leave a comment.

Later i post pictures of my E3 linker installed on PS3 Slim.

thanks

I am Glad you have done it at last,
Will my ProgSkeet V1.2 is still on the way, but i vane not seen anyone say anything postive about it, i guess i will put it aside right now and use my trusty V1.1. it is the best.
i have also the E3 Flasher, i used it. it is easier. but hte PRogskeet is much better for me.

can you elaporate more regarding how you fixed the PS3 using 3M patch and installing the 4.3 E3 CFW?

regarding th NAND i really have not done any till now :-)

Not yet .. No one did succeed , including me .. But I'm trying 24 hours to write the flash , no luck yet .

By the way , you need injectus (infectus) to program your progskeet ,

now , we just need time to see updates about this prog , we just need time ...

http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/File:...ion_errors.jpg Could that be the problem?

@v.s@ You probably threw it but could you (or ANYB0DY) please confirm whether or not your board has any shorted pins? Sorry for the inconvenience.

As u see from picture , if the gnd side is shorted no problem , but of the other side is the. It won't work , our progs are good , the problem is not hardware .. It's the freaking bitstream
