English Speaking News Posters

Any chance?

I don't mean any offence to mods that are not native English speakers, but reading news posts in broken English is starting to grate. This is supposed to be an English speaking forum.

Even if an English speaking person could proof read, that would do the job.

Cheers lads.

@manster is there something youre not telling us?

Lol jkjk anyway though the only one with english issues would be hellsing and hes gotten so good at it that its not often he makes mistakes. As for greg his english is good too, if his english sounds broken then the whole english language is broken.

dk what else to say really.

@MrSoft You can use @hellsing9 instead of aim everybody on staff.

Even if an English speaking person could proof read, that would do the job.
Yeah, you are right.
Proof i can read = making this reply to you.

Let me *fix* what you were trying to say.

1) You want someone who speaks/writes/breathes english on S-MOD status (News writer)

Let me show what's the problem on that.
If you are *****ing about my english i can tell you that's not EASY to find someone with enough time and some dedication to do it.
If you don't like the way i write the articles, maybe you can talk with the admin of the site which is Pirate and tell him to ask for my removal and replace me with someone with more time and above all someone he and staff as anybody in hax can trust.

It's not easy as it seems, language can be some serious problem but then you have to trust that S-MOD. (Which is harder than you think).
It's not about all language, it's about trust. If Pirate, gregoryrasputin and many others on staff gave me this chance over some months i had to prove to them that i am someone that they can trust and eventually rely on.

Lol why don't you go away and go to a forum in your native language. And go cry there!
@MrSoft
At least we respect or news posters. They are volunteers and they try their best. If you don't think so, you do not belong here.
You always do a good job @hellsing9 !

There is a reason we tolerate broken English from a certain moderator

I wouldn't want the mods to change what they do here period.

If you have an issue with the news or any of the postings I suggest going elsewhere.

English isn't the easiest language to learn. I'm 100% Canadian and 100% English speaking and even I don't know how to correctly speak it all of the time.

Taking into account that the English language is comprised of so many different homonym's and homophones, it's really a wonder how some people can be so proficiently fluent in the English language.

For the ill educated

Homophone - Noun: Each of two or more words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling, e.g., new and knew.

Homonym -
Noun: Each of two words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling e.g., to, too, and two (or there, their, and they're)

Can anybody tell me (for 100 bonus points) WHY people struggle with the English language now?
