If it ever came down to someone stealing someone's MAC and the user with the Original MAC decides to give sony a ring, it won't be pretty. They can obviously detect duplicates since MACS are unique but they can also tie it down with the ps3's serial number. As for the person who stole the mac, you would be lucky to get away with just a ban because I'm sure the authorities would love to talk to you about theft, If Sony or the user decided to go that route.

That's why you have multiple MAC addresses and change often then delete the app once you change it and retain the pkg for the air bringer. If they did go that route and decide to come to your door step, they would have to prove that you even knew how to change your MAC if they confiscated your PC.

There is a way around everything, so they won't bother wasting resources to try to trap people doing that. They need real "Concrete Evidence".

The average joe wouldn't think of restoring their mac, and as usual sony logs every app executed. The other thing to bear in mind is that the ps3 does send data to the ps3 after every boot, there is an exception. Once you go online data gets sent regardless. So having multiple macs when the duplicate gets logged into the servers doesn't mean much when you restore your mac address.

The only way to avoid that is not log in, what would be the point then? Even if you were to delete history you went online with the duplicate mac, Sony is aware of these hacks and pkgs.

Knowing how shady Sony is and the way they've handled the hacking situation, they don't need much to go after you. Your cfw, your ps3...but when it comes down to ruining it for others just because you wanted another week of BO2, you deserve what's coming to you.

I"m all for cfw and unlocking my ps3 as long as it doesn't affect others negatively. (cheating, stealing...etc) It makes it hard for cfw users to make a case when crap like this happens to legit users.

The only way I see this being ok is if you get banned, you manage to grab the mac of YOUR ylod ps3 or spare ps3 that doesn't go online. If you got banned from psn once, they keep a close eye on you. This is the same way with MS, if they detected modified firmware and they ban you, they ban you much quicker the second time you do it because you're on their watchlist. They don't need to gather much evidence to ban since you have a record.

There may be ways around it but this is a cat and mouse game, you never get the last laugh.

I understand your side of the argument, but I disagree as far as not having the last laugh. If you are an average joe, then yes your journey will end quick. If you know what you are doing and are hard headed enough, you will be able to at least get around a MAC ban.

They will target your IDPS, even they know you can change that as well, if you go fiddling with that too much and screw up, not just your LAN card will no longer work but the whole damn PS3 unless you have a flash back up. They will bet against this and go this route. I know, I am having a hard time logging into HOME, so I think I will just simply exhaust all resources and try to play cat and mouse for a bit because I personally don't care if I can not access online features.

I deserve whatever I get and that is an undeniable truth, but for right now since I am not hurting anyone and instead helping some unknown network security person out there trying to keep me out of SEN.

Until someone proves to me otherwise that I am causing harm than at least a little good, I'll just keep messing with them solely because they have broken many promises and given no disregard to what the public wants. IDC otherwise. Didn't mean to go off topic like this. lol.

Just to clear something up...the "you deserve what you get" comment, wasn't directed at you, more of a generalization, just had to make sure

Oh no offense taken an I knew it was a generalization. But thanks for clarifying, and if more people had an easy going dialogue like this, then we wouldn't have so much progress being stiffed. I have enjoyed this conversation!

Has anyone tested that this works on the "banned or suspended" message you recieve when you try too sign into psn.
How do you run this program 3.55 3.41 or other Os.
A more detailed tut would be nice.
Shame about the 10 pages of righteousness
