it is offical i give up put in a good mac address used stokers psidpatch 1.6 to patch psid and consoleid no dice still banned as to my knowlege i cant figure out any more to this issue im still a noob i guess or its jus not possible.... havent had any sleep ....if anyone has figured out a solution to the banned console any help would be great i have read for days and days sense the bans came so please dont flame me as i am not in in the right state of mind thx

I think the fact that you are banned still is awesome you little troll.

I doubt many who are true ps3hax members support stealing of anyone else's mac address, and frankly it doesnt matter to me what they think............I know its wrong, and wont do it.

Not that I'm using my online, but I still don't want anybody stealing my MAC.

On the other hand, sure doesn't feel good to be stolen from, right? (in respect to ripping off games, intellectual property people put much work/love into, etc a different level but, in a strange way the same).

I'd say the opposite, if it becomes widespread Sony will go back on this stance and stop the bans based on MAC addresses and PSIDs.

If this gets out of hand...ps3 mac addresses will become quite invaluable.

If sony sees a number of the same mac addresses accessing their servers, Im sure they would end up banning that address, which would include a ton of online pirates and the one innocent original mac address owner.

Using PSN on a CFW machine is like walking into a police station with a gun, in a side holster, with the serial number scratched away. You WILL be asked one day about the side arm, and you WILL get penalized.

PSN is Sonys grand turf and we as cfw users are ants walking in for the kill. THAT WILL NOT CHANGE.

Whether you like it or not, the best case scenario is you would be changing mac addresses for as long as you are on PSN and ruining an innocent online users online ability in the process. Could you live with that? If you could, YOU are the true criminals, not cfw users.

You don't need to change the MAC or steal one for that matter. Also it doesn't matter if you are on CFW or not. Just create a new PSN account and launch from external on BD mirror from multiman and it should work fine. I did this last night and it worked fine for about 4 hours with no problems. I used a real backup but if you use a legit release like DUPLEX or dumptruck you should be fine. Playing early got you banned. Using the 15.8 GB Hexcoder release will get you banned. Using cheats will also get you banned. I posted all this in another thread earlier last night. Apparently nobody paid any attention to it. Just create a new account and use a legit release. Stop doing all the unnecessary workarounds.

EDIT: After rebooting it let me launch the game signed out. I then signed in and it gave me the server error. I pressed the back button and I got some kind of video of a jet and then it took me back to main menu signed in. I then selected zombies and it froze. I'll keep trying as this is a sort of progress.

EDIT2: I created a different account. I rebooted and signed into new account. I signed out of PSN and launched the game via MM. Once at the main menu I signed into PSN with the new account. I am now playing Zombies online. I recommend this method.

Would internal BD mirror work? I mean that's what I've been doing. Bobby what you recommend? I haven't signed on PSN once with this game and have been watching the forums. I have duplex release
