Hi every one, first of all my apologize if this is not the place to put my question. I want to clone my PS3 HDD with an external HDD, and then in the external HDD i want to jailbreak it.

After that, if it´s possible, when i want to play i choose which what HDD I want to play:

1) With the internal HDD (PS3 HDD) or 2) External HDD via USB.

Please let me know if this is possible or not, coz idk if the system is in the HDD or inside the PS3.

Im a little confused on what your asking, but it sounds like you wanted to swap firmwares between HDDs. This is not possible because firmware is stored on the PS3 and not the HDD. Sorry if this wasnt what your asking, but thats what I got from "external HDD i want to jailbreak it."
