I saw that many of you after use 3.55 Nor patched have 8002f157 error when try install official 4.00 firmware.I spend over week to try to help You and solve that problem.Just follow my tutorial and Your problem will solve for good

USB Mass Storage Device format in FAT32
MicroSD Card format in FAT32
Playstation 3 Downgrade-Dongle
Rogero V2 with 4.00 Spoof
E3 Downgrade TF File

8002f157 error FIX

1. copy the "e3_downgrade.bin" file to your MicroSD-Card
2. unplug the power cable from the Playstation 3
3. put the MicroSD-Card into the E3-Flasher
4. set the 6 switch of the E3 Flasher:

5. switch on PS3 and wait 2-3 minutes
6. press "Start" button on the E3-Flasher,if 1,2 and 6 blue lights start blinking that means PS3 is operating Nor, E3 Flasher cannot operate at the same time.Press stop button on E3-Flasher and press start button again aftre few secends

*the flash process begins and the 8 LEDs will one by one lights on
*the flash success, when all 8 LEDs blinks.

7. unplug the power cable from the Playstation 3
8. switch the sixth switch of the E3 Flasher from "UNLOCK" to "LOCK"
9. Insert the Downgrade Dongle to the right most USB port on PS3
10. plug in the power cable of the Playstation 3.
11. starts the Playstation 3 in factory mode: push the "POWER" Button and directly the "EJECT"-Button on the Playstation 3.

*the Playstation 3 check this with 3 times beep

12. wait until the Playstation 3 shut automatic off
13. unplug the Jailbreak/Downgrade Dongle.
14. Copy the files Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP from the downgrade_file.rar package of the folder STEP 1 to the ROOT (not subfolder!) of your USB Mass Storage Device
15. Insert the USB Mass Storage Device to the right most USB port on PS3.
16. Now turn on your PS3 and leave it alone, the PS3 should turn off by itself in few minutes.
17. Unplug your USB Mass Storage Device from the PS3 and put into Your computer.
18. Now copy and replace the files on your USB Mass Storage Device with the Lv2diag.self from the STEP 2 folder
19. Insert once again to the right most USB port on your PS3
20. Turn on your PS3, it should turn off by itself in about ~20 seconds.
21. Unplug your USB Mass Storage Device from PS3 and turn on Your console You should see Rogero V2 with 4.00 Spoofer
22. Now make Your Nor backup and install 4.00 firmware without any errors

!!!WARNING!!!
NEVERMORE USE "PS3 NOR Patcher v1" FOR YOUR NOR. THIS PATCHER IS CRAP!!!

1) flash 4.0 + patch (for me original 4.0 no work)
2) insert only a e3_downgrade when is on the ps3?

NEWS:

My ps3 does not want to get into factory mode (p3go dongle)
My ps3 NOW run HDD 3.55 fw on 4.0 bios patched <.< but in any case is not possible update or play a game

You are now on 3.55 and working fine right? Then do these:
1. Flash only downgrade.bin with 000001. After that shut down ps3, plug off.
2.Then format your 4.0 hdd via pc.
3. Connect the formatted hdd via sata station.
4. Connect the downgrade dongle to the right usB port.
5. Power + eject combination
6. Then do the normal downgrading cycle.
7. When again you are on 3.55 update through the xmb to 4.0.
8. Then back up bios.

So what dongle have you used in the end?

psp jig is confirmed to work to enter service mode?

i used the psp. but i had to try lots of times with different timings of power + select combination.

don't mix the service menu with the factory menu


factory menu is for the downgrade with the dongle

the service menu you can go without a dongle
