Ballsed up my downgrade..
So, long & short of it is that I'm made a mess of downgrading my Slim.
I was running 3.55CFW and managed to get to Rogero's 4.30 without too much drama, made a F/W backup via MultiMan etc.. then decided to swap out my HD for a bigger one.. which is where the problem started (and ended!..haha). Found out I needed to downgrade in order to swap out the drive, but didn't realise that the downgrader needed to be ran from the xmenu, not service mode. So basically, I've got a bricked PS3.. Is this something that's definitely recoverable with a hardware flasher? I'm happy to send it off to @deano etc if it's doable. Thanks folks! |

maybe its posible to get in to factory service mode with a jig ore a downgrade dongle! ??
