My PS3: SLIM CECH2503A

NEVER EVER HAD AN ISSUE BEFORE... HAVE ALWAYS READ INSTRUCTIONS! OLD TIME CFW USER!

1. Installed latest multiMAN v04.12.00 while on Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) (patched)
2. Downgraded with the special 4.25-to-3.55 PUP, and I just installed Rogero 3.55 (v3.7).
3. While on Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) (patched), Did a System Update from XMB and install the Downgrader PUP.
4. Screen Went Black, No activity, thus rebooted System...

Now Nothing! Can't even Boot into Restore Mode! Nothing! WoW! Astonished! Shocked! I Was just fine on CFW 4.30 v1.0 ... WTF!!!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Initially received a system error whilst trying to upgrade to Rogero CEX-4.30 v2.00, thus went through the process of trying to downgrade in order to upgrade to the latest rogero cfw and system just bricked or somethings happened to it. Followed the tutorial on Tortuga's website as i've never had the need to downgrade before and now i've hit a brick wall!

On Tortuga Cove's website i followed the tutorial suggesting...

"While on Rogero CFW4.30, go to System Update from XMB and install the Downgrader PUP."

I've never had to downgrade before and i should have followed my own instincts, as i have done in the past by upgrading via restore mode, avoiding this crappy brick because i tried a downgrade via XMB!

Any suggestions to get out of this?

Did you forget to toggle qa and did you use recovery mode? If so, that shouldn't have happened. My only suggestion is to send it off to get unbricked, I could point you in the direction of a legit guy who doesn't charge much.. (usa) If that's what your going to do.

Rogero clearly states that we should install the Downgrade PUP from within the XMB.

I just went through the Rogero Downgrade process from ErmaC v1.4 and am now sitting on Rogero 4.30 v2.0 :D
I also used the XMB for the Downgrade PUP only. All the other flashes I used the recovery mode.


Got a bit worried when I was on Rogero 3.55 as the PS3 said it was on 4.25 so I ended up going to OFW 3.55 and then to Rogero 3.55 again which still showed 4.25 so figured it was some sort of spoof. Also Rogero 4.30 v2.0 shows as 4.31 haha

rogero already working on v2.01 so might as well wait for that one now.

Anyone having the Singstar problem on PS3 ( Singstar icon present in XMB ), it is problem with the OFW, and cause Rogero practically used the original files, the problem got into CFW aswell. In 2.01 will the problem probably be gone.
