Is it worth upgrading from 3.55 CFW (explanation inside)
I have had a dead blue ray drive for some time now and have only been able to play games that are able to be played discless.
If I upgrade to a 4.XX CFW will I still be able to play the old games discless and will it allow to play a slightly larger selection of games or is my best bet to stay on 3.55 for now? |

I believe compatibility is slightly better on 4.xx CFW, although I'm probably thinking of DEX.
Have you considered REX because it allows quick switching from CFW 4.21 REX (spoofable to 4.30) to DEX.

I've considered DEX before but no one has been able to confirm to me whether the BD emulation works without a functioning blu-ray drive

I am thinking also to upgrade from my 3.55 but still don't now what the best cfw I hope one day KMEAW 4xxx show up

Alright thats badass, really badass. I think I shall do that. multiman is avalible on REX so I should still have access to showtime even
one last question how do I tell if my ps3 is Nand or Nor? |
