Thanks to their disastrous marketing choices, how they handle their customers and the decline in the quality of their products it's not so surprising that they are now at "junk" level.

Tough one... They were great back in the 80s and 90s when they were a hardware company. They made good quality hardware that people wanted.
Haha I remember them fighting for our rights to use Betamax's to record TV, & movies.
Then they moved into the music and movie industry and turned into what they are now.

Not to mention their hardware (TVs etc) are just too overpriced now.. why spend $2k on a TV when you can spend $800, get a 5yr warranty and be just as happy.
Their name alone doesnt sell stuff like it used to.

They need to stop doing dumb **** like manufacturing TVs, MP3 players, laptops, etc.

They should only keep their music studio, movie studio and gaming division.

firstly, lmao at the dedication

but mainly, i am hoping that the next iteration of the ps brand is top quality and they actually deliver features instead of removing them.

i would hate to see playstation vanish but if they fail to impress with the next console they will surely lose a vast market share and likely be out of the console game for the forseeable future

@Annelies their laptops and tvs are awesome in my eyes, giving up on them would be suicide

They put to much money into the PS3, And did not get enough out of it.
They should have had the Slim PS3 versions sooner. The $500 Phats are what really did it to them.

I own a Panasonic TV and i love it! I have also worked for a short time in a tv repair shop. I have seen all kinds of TVs come in and out. I would have to say that Panasonic is one of the Superior brands. Most of the Panasonic TVs that did come into our shop only needed a firmware update and most consumers do not realize that TVs sometimes do require firmware updates. Also I loved working on panasonic's, I found them to be very easy to work on. They can be labeled whatever, I will still have no problem buying one in the future.
