Call of duty: World at war Black screen ****!!

My ****ing world at war freezes when trying to boot it up.
I'm at rex 4.21! I have the newest patch (1.07) installed.
Please give me some help, I really want to play this game as my disc of it got broken, that one had no black screen errors, but freezing errors.
Thanks in advance!

Some times if you have Bittorrent, or uTorrent, or any other torrenting software up and running on the same network it will freeze on the opening cinematic. Try turning off all torrent software to see if it will work. If not try turning off all your computers, if it keeps freezing, I don't know what to say.

I doubt that has something to do with it
My 4.21 ps3 is on another internet than my pc. I have 2 internets at my home, the only thing that's on my other internet is my 4.21 rex ps3.
Magically it worked :o I just sat permissions and it worked like a charm!

But it's not. I've had the game freeze on the opening cinematic, with my uTorrent running on the same network. After I closed them all out I was back online. I found the solution for my problem here. http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/3823...gged-into-psn/
Oh, and congrats OP!
