Didn't read all posts but just to report that I acquired the DUPLEX release and its working fine. Here are my details:

PS3: CECH-E01 (FAT / BC)
FW: Rogero CFW 4.30 (v2.0)
Signed to PSN: No
Connected to Internet: Yes
Patched DUPLEX files: No (just used original PKGs)

Procedure:

1) Run @deank 's "Install Package" application (installPKG) and queue:

* duplex-far.cry.3-install.part1.pkg
* duplex-far.cry.3-install.part2.pkg
* duplex-far.cry.3.crack.pkg

2) After PS3 restart with installation bubbles on XMB, Install in same order (press when selecting each to get the install option).
3) Run and play!

Played the game until the first checkpoint, and so far no problem found. I even quit the game, re-launched it and saved progress was fine, so I was able to continue playing.

this game works 100% on rebug 4.21 . Also About the whole resigning your old 3.55 games ALLL of my old games work . ALL OF THEM with no modifications. and i dont use psn games all those are on my ofw ps3

What other games are you talking about? Anyway, PropJoe requested the needed files a while ago so I bet he's allover this trying to fix it so it runs as smooth on 3.55 as it does on 4.21

I have the Auto saving working on my rebug 3.55.2 CFW. what I did was installing duplex pkg part1, the part2. After that I did not install duplex crack and just moved DEFAULTDNB cracked files to game folder after deleting original files.

Edit: when I tried to manual save from Start Menu the game froze with saving icon continuously flashing.

Edit2: Its negative Auto saving and Manual saving are not working.

I just said that it cannot be that easy to fix the newer games, because FC3 is not the only one that is NOT working. I was not claiming I could fix it or that it was easy.

what i dont get is people moan till their heart dropped that they wanted a higher cfw etc . now we got a higher cfw they stay in the dark ages on 3.55, moaning there is no 3.55 fix . there is a fix u update to the new cfw simple as that . this is what u wanted and u still moan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
