Gran Turismo 5 Problem (checked alot of threads)

got black screen with gran turismo 5 .... i got the Gran_Turismo_5_Academy_Edition_PS3-STRiKE one....extracted to the external harddrive using..split4G from pc tools in multiman full...got the gt5 update....and im getting black screen.... i already did bluray mirror along with external and internal....what do i do???? please give me a option on how to do it with the steps....or just send me to a thread

try these method:

try transferring from an external HDD via PFS mount in multiman if NTFS

have u tried running the game without updating first? could it be one of the update files are corrupt?

nvm got it to work...just put it in the external...first game i had to do that for.....cant stand it... i have 2 TB external and i have to put this game in a 120 gb small A** drive
