Thats because the sfo is not properly patched. Try building the sfo using flatz sfopatcher with --copy-params at the end then just do a full update using bruteforce.

Unfortunately we can't extract it from .PFD because IDPS is not stored there. They used it as a HMAC key to hash the content of PARAM.SFO.

btw flatz I successfully resigned someone's save from a different forum using your tools and I didn't even use his own idps. Maybe we don't need the idps after all?

Some games check this idps hash some games do not it depends on the dev who coded the game. Dont confuse this tool with xploder or game genie ,it is much more better(actually 10000000 times better)than them if know how to use it correctly. Last edited by rayan2; 12-18-2012 at 06:42 AM. |

Too bad that many people don't read what I wrote. I already said many times that some hashes are not checked. That's why Xploder works fine without your console ID. But my goal was the correct generation of the PFD (because S0ny can add new checks in the future) and I had managed to use all keys but you can omit some of them (based on your console id or disc hash key, for example).

Thanks
@flatz
for your work. The time has come, now we should be able to freely decrypt most of the saves. Always wanted to do this without any paid tools. Unfortunately, I cannot get this to work, having the same issue as killuinurface.
"Unable to read global config file" I'll try to mess with it a bit more, will see what I can do. |
