The 3d headtracking was done on the Wii and it looks awesome.
Good to see Sony implement something cool if real.

A lot of what the sensor is doing sounds similar to what the Kinect 2.0 is supposed to do. And like
@japsander
mentioned, it was something already developed by Wii. Plus I already have an app that can turn my my TV into a 3D TV. It's called the Bino 3D player. If they don't come up with something better I'm going to stick with my PC.

here is the demo of the technology. its a shame that once again, profits will be made from other peoples innovations but ill be happy to have it implemented if it is done correctly and not simply added as a gimmick in games like forza head tracking lol
