A little help for a 3ds total noob

I m not interested in the 3ds scene and i don't know any serious forums so i know this is not the best place but if you can help i d be really grateful...
1 What i know is 3ds last fw is 4.4.0-10 anf the best flashcard that works on this i think is r4i gold pro because i don't need another ds for uprade the kernel of the card am i wrong? (for ex akai 2i need another ds for upgrade the kernel instead this one can be connected ti the computer and update)
2 Is it possible to run .3d games with a flashcard?

Thank you

thread moved into wii/wii-u hax section as its a nintendo question

3ds mode is not hacked at all so dont expect to play 3ds games anytime soon

i have a r4i-shdc 3ds flash card and it comes on the latest version ready to play ds roms/homebrew
if you update the 3ds before the card then you need another ds/3ds to update the card before it will work again

as for other flash carts i have no experience but mine has never failed me
