I agree. But all the devs who could help get a softmod are most likely working on 3key and Cobra. Rather than find an exploit for 3k+ consoles they're going to charge for a circumvention method. You know how this scene is. That's why I hope the same guys work on Wii U hacks that worked on the Wii and that the PS3 scene devs never get involved in the Wii U scene.

For the ODE? I imagine its just a matter of disconnecting the bluray drive, putting ribbon cables in that go to the ODE unit itself instead of the drive. One would think the drive would plug into the ODE. Or the ODE cable would have a splitter where it plugs into the mobo so the drive could stay in as well.
Although they did mention hooking the drive up to the PC for disk ripping.

I still dont see the point in these devices at all until they work directly on OFW/3k,4k consoles. I know some people didnt mind paying for ReDRM dongles but can someone name one thing that would benefit a customer using this type of device???
